3 EASY STEPS TO PARTICIPATE
1. Visit a New York State Rail Trail before September 27, 2010. Locate 115 of NY’s multi-use rail trails using Parks and Trails New York’s online Trail Finder service:
http://www.ptny.org/trailfinder
2. Document your visit with a photograph including yourself and the trail name sign.
3. Enter the drawing by September 27, 2010
You can enter online by clicking here or mail your entry.
Erie and Cattaraugus County residents of all ages are eligible. Multiple entries per household are allowed and participants can enter the drawing multiple times. Each visit to a new trail should be entered separately.

The Rail Trail Tour 2010 is a joint project between the Erie Cattaraugus Rail Trail, Parks & Trails New York, Bert’s Bikes and Runner’s Roost.
The purpose of this event is:
- To educate communities on the location and benefits of NY’s many rail trails
- To improve public health by increasing the number of persons walking and biking.
- To promote an inexpensive, fun and safe family outdoor activity.
